Black Garlic Ice Cream

Intense, sweet black garlic with notes of balsamic. A smooth and creamy palate.

Black garlic is actually white garlic that has been aged for several weeks using controlled heat and humidity. This causes the cloves to turn a dark colour and develop a soft texture. The flavour turns a mellow ‘sweet-and-savoury’, similar to balsamic vinegar, molasses, or dates.

Perfect when paired with:

  • Cacio e pepe (or any cheese-based pasta dish)
  • A cheeseboard – black garlic ice cream adds a fabulously interesting dimension
  • Ragu-based dishes
  • Risotto – either stirred in on the side
  • Dishes with roasted beetroot, fresh apple, hazelnut bases
  • Seafood, particularly shrimps, langoustine or lobster

Our ice cream and sorbets are packed full of flavour! With only a small 15mls ‘quenelle’ required for each plate, bowl or glass, one tub will provide around 15 servings.
